You know I could understand that for years the audience didn’t vote for the non-English songs. It’s harder to get into a song you don’t understand or in a language that’s just gibberish to your brain. But I’ve always considered that the jury was here to restore that balance. But the fact that they never do, and this year that they have actually ruined this, this celebration of diversity, by promoting two basic pop songs, that really shows that they don’t serve any purpose.

#Eurovision #Eurovision 2023 #I think Sweden is basic and didn’t deserve that many points #but most of all I’m angry they gave so many points to Israel #the song was the most unimaginative thing ever #just ask the US to join and give them the trophee every year if that’s all you care about #bland music that is force fed to us by the giant across the pond #I mean I don’t hate american pop songs they are nice #they just don’t belong at Eurovision???#can’t we just escape them for one night and celebrate our diversity and cultures?#our silly boys bands and our not that silly dictature denouncing groups?#our Norwegian queens and Finish kings and Czech sestras?#our beautiful Portuguese and Italian and Spanish singers?#and all the other deserving acts that I can’t think of because I didn’t get enough sleep #anyway abolish the jury #they don’t know what they’re talking about
